Jesus Christ (Pantokrator)

This hand-crafted icon depicts Jesus Christ as Christ Pantocrator in the traditional Byzantine style.
Christ is portrayed frontally, holding the Holy Gospel close to His chest while raising His right hand in a gesture of blessing, symbolizing His divine authority, wisdom, and the eternal message of salvation. His solemn and peaceful expression reflects both compassion and righteous judgment. The halo surrounding His head bears the sacred Christogram, affirming His divine nature and eternal presence. His garments are painted in luminous blue and soft purple tones, symbolizing heavenly glory, divinity, and the mystery of the Incarnation.

The background is covered with genuine 24-karat gold leaf, meticulously applied by hand according to traditional Byzantine iconographic techniques. The gold used is authentic 24K gold, giving the icon a radiant and timeless appearance. The pigments are specially prepared traditional mixtures, following the historic methods of sacred icon painting. These premium materials ensure exceptional durability and longevity, allowing the icon to be preserved for generations, just as ancient Byzantine icons have endured through the centuries.

Each icon is entirely handmade by skilled iconographers with deep respect for the Orthodox Christian artistic tradition. Every stage of the creation process is completed by hand with careful attention to detail. The wooden panel is specially selected, prepared, and crafted by experienced artisans to ensure stability, quality, and authenticity.
