Jesus Christ

This icon depicts Jesus Christ, rendered in the traditional Byzantine style. Christ is shown frontally, raising His right hand in blessing while holding the Holy Gospel in His left hand, symbolizing His teaching and divine authority. His calm and solemn expression reflects both mercy and justice, while His steady gaze conveys a sense of spiritual presence and timelessness. The halo bears the traditional Christogram, affirming His divine identity. His garments, painted in rich red and deep green tones, symbolize His divine and human nature united in one person.

The background is covered with genuine 24-karat gold leaf, carefully applied by hand. The gold used is authentic 24K gold. The pigments are specially prepared traditional mixtures, following the methods of historic iconography. These materials ensure exceptional durability and longevity, allowing the icon to be preserved for generations, as seen in surviving ancient icons.

Each icon is 100 percent handmade by skilled iconographers. Every stage of the process is completed entirely by hand. The wooden panel is carefully selected and crafted by an expert woodcarver, ensuring stability, quality, and long-lasting strength.
