The deep red garments of the Virgin symbolize sacrifice, love, and royal dignity, while the blue inner garment reflects purity and heavenly grace. Christ is clothed in luminous gold and soft blue tones, representing divine glory and wisdom. The composition follows the sacred traditions of Byzantine iconography, emphasizing spiritual contemplation and prayer.

The background is covered with genuine 24-karat gold leaf, carefully applied by hand. The gold used is real 24K gold.
