His calm and noble expression reflects spiritual strength, protection, and devotion. The halo surrounding the Saint affirms his sanctity and honored place within the Orthodox Christian tradition.

The Epigonation, known in Greek as the “Epigonation” is an important liturgical vestment worn by Orthodox bishops and certain priests as part of the sacred Amphia. Its diamond-shaped form symbolizes the “Sword of the Spirit,” representing the Word of God, wisdom, and spiritual authority. Rich ornamental Byzantine patterns surround the central icon, enhancing the solemn beauty and ceremonial dignity of this sacred ecclesiastical piece. The background is covered with genuine 24-karat gold leaf, carefully applied by hand. The gold used is real 24K gold.
